So, it seemed everything was due at the beginning of the week. Push-Pull Natural, a digital painting for DFA, and a one-minute project for concept.
Here's the pushpull- still a lot of tweaks to be made, but those will have to be saved for later, considering we're onto the next project. The quality is super condensed for nice download speed... I hope. The background image is actually from a photo I took
Clicky here!
The background image is actualy a composite of two photos I took while I was in alaska a few years ago. I put them together and then painted over/tweaked them, and then made the background props blend in. The first one is of a Glacier in the Tracy Arm Fjord (i think?) and the second was taken from a Gondola in Skagway.

Here's DFA- my first digital painting in Corel. I can't say I am entirely pleased, but it was fun anyway. It was a bit frustrating however, because I did have to take it back and forth into photoshop for certain tweaks (like scaling/rotating... which painter doesn't seem to like very much). The colors in the two programs are different. The colors are different depending on the monitor you're on.. or if you're on a PC or a MAC.. or if you open it as a preview, or full view. So really, I have no idea what the true colors/ tones are. :)
